Messestand auf der METALEX 2025 in Bankok

Under the motto “precision from micro to macro,” the cooperation partners Klaus Baier Werkzeugbau Stanztechnik and creative automation presented their portfolio in the German Pavilion at METALEX in Bangkok (Thailand). The trade fair, held from November 19–23, brought together around 2,500 exhibitors and more than 100,000 visitors.

METALEX showcases a wide spectrum of industries, including metalworking machine tools, precision measuring equipment, machine accessories, mold and die making, power systems, and welding technology. The fair attracts visitors from a diverse range of sectors—such as aerospace, automotive, construction, electronics, manufacturing, medical, and IT—and is therefore a key meeting point for professionals seeking the latest developments in metalworking and industrial technologies.

Both partners draw a positive conclusion. The Asian market is vibrant and fast-moving, and compared to METALEX Vietnam 2024, in which Klaus Baier already participated, a further step toward excellence was clearly noticeable.

Even though the price level in Asia is significantly lower than in Europe, there is strong interest in innovative technology. Both companies were able to make a strong impression:

The exhibit—the press equipped with smart impulse technology and fitted with tooling for the production of snap domes—attracted considerable attention.

Both partners are now considering establishing a joint sales presence in Asia.

For the first time, creative automation participated as an exhibitor at the joint stand of the German Association of Tool and Mold Makers (VDWF) at Blechexpo, held in Stuttgart from October 21 to 24, 2025.

creative automation presented the ProX 100 with SmartImpuls technology and an improved control system for the first time. The exhibit attracted significant attention from both visitors and other exhibitors. With the further-developed Beckhoff control system, the ProX 100 delivers noticeably enhanced pulsation performance. During operation, it produces a distinctive acoustic signature when running at freely selectable frequencies between 30 and 250 Hz.

Its performance impressed and excited many prospects from the stamping and bending sectors. During one of the demonstrations, the spontaneous slogan emerged: “It’s working like a woodtracker in the tree!”

The guiding principle behind the system is to push the boundaries of what is technically feasible. The patented technology and tests with the ProX 100 have shown that producing mechanical coatings on cut edges with nearly 100 percent smooth cuts—completely free of burrs—can lead to substantial efficiency gains in production. Visitors at the VDWF joint stand were able to see this for themselves.

Wilhelm Settele commented on the trade fair appearance as follows:

“For us, the trade fair was a great success. We are thrilled by the well-developed network of the VDWF. We returned home with more than 20 concrete leads and excellent feedback from experts — and now we look forward to following up with all of them!”

Liss, Czech Republic

Liss Czech Republic (headquartered in Switzerland), a producer of precision mechanical components, commissioned creative automation in October 2025 to build an automated machine for manufacturing a highly sophisticated part.

Through comprehensive preliminary studies, creative automation was able to convince the customer of the quality and advantages of the new manufacturing concept. The order has a volume of approximately one million euros, with further potential for future automation systems.

For Wilkinson Sword in Solingen, the renowned manufacturer of razors, blades, and personal care products, creative automation will be producing more than 150 million high-quality parts per year starting in February 2026. To achieve this, creative automation’s experts designed a high-end production tool. The proposed solution impressed the customer both in terms of price and quality.

For both projects, creative automation is supported by its long-standing cooperation partner Klaus Baier Werkzeugbau Stanztechnik. Baier, like creative automation, is located in the Allgäu region in southern Germany, an area renowned for machine tool manufacturing and precision stamping/bending technology — also famous for Neuschwanstein Castle, built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria.

At METALEX in Bangkok, from November 19 to 23, 2025, the two partners will exhibit together for the first time at a joint booth under the motto “Micro meets Macro”.

Due to increasing demand and expanded manufacturing capabilities, creative automation has streamlined its product portfolio. This has also resulted in even more attractive pricing.
